3 weeks old!

Results from Georgia's echo show that her PDA opened up so she is on meds to close it. She will not be given milk for the next few days b/c of the meds. Her stomach is distended so they have a tube inserted into stomach to get rid of excess air. The excess air and open PDA put a strain on her breathing so I would not be surprised if she goes back on vent sometime soon, but for now she is still on CPAP.
In this picture we put Daddy's wedding band on Georgia's wrist.

Livia's PIC line is coming out today. She is down to 31% O2 support and doing OK on CPAP. She needs help periodically with her breathing(her rates get very low and the nurse needs to give her more O2 to bring her back up-common preemie behavior but not so much fun to watch)
Close up of Livie!

Nina's lungs l have some mucus (from the vent)and that makes her have a hard time breathing so the nurses suck it out and then she's OK for a bit.

Hi,

We are thinking of you and you all are in our prayers. We know how good the care is at the hospital; the girls just need to keep hanging in there!

Judith,
The girls are beautiful just like their Mom. It is wonderful to watch their progress. What a miracle!
