Nina received her first round of vaccinations today. Her feeds have gone up to 32 ML and she weighs 2.9 ounces. She had a great day with Mommy holding her and loving her up.
Livia has been off feedings since last night and will continue back tomorrow with a decreased density diet (only breast milk) The GI specialist came by today and said Liv looks good. She is active and not sick...her belly is soft and round... Little by little Docs will increase her calorie as well as the volume of her feeds until she can tolerate it all. Livia is much less swollen then she's been in a long time. She weighs 2.10 oz. They are weaning her off the vent for hopefully early next week. She had hours of Daddy time tonight loving her up.

Hi Fox Family!
Who's that pretty girl on the catwalk? The photo shoot is fabulous. Nina is really looking so good and plump! The news on Livia sounds good too. So glad you both got to "love up" on your girls today!! Always thinking of you.
LOVE and PRAYERS,
Kristin, Chris and Owen
Awesome pictures! Hope to see some good shots of Livia too once she's feeling better! It sounds like both girls have come so far in their development - I pray that they keep growing bigger and stronger every day!

Thank you so much for sharing the adorable pictures of Nina - she's beautiful & I look forward to pictures of Livia when she's feeling a little more up to posing. As always, all of you are in my thoughts & prayers. It sounds like Nina is doing quite well & Livia is starting to get there - I'm so happy for you both! Enjoy all the "love up" time and thank you once again for keeping us up-to-date on your blog.
Love,

Judith,
Nina is looking great. Congrats. Try to let Livia just set her own pace when it comes to her eating/digesting food. She sounds a lot like my Amelia. She was on and off of feeds so very many times during her hospital stay. It turns out that she could not tolerate fortified milk. She did the best with straight breast milk only. And she still gained weight very well on this diet. Most MD's consider breast milk to be about 20 cal/oz (& I think that's why they want to fortify it), however research has shown that hind milk can have 24-30 cal/oz. Trust your body to make the best food it knows how to for your baby. Now A's 11mo/7mo corrected, and weighs 18#5oz...already in the 5% for her REAL age! Good luck, you have my continued prayers. And do keep up on the blog, in a year all of these days will seem a distant memory. The journal I kept is now one of my most prized possessions (although I still can't read it without crying)!
