Nina had a big day today. She finally was held by her Appie (DiYenno term for Grandmom..long story, but named by niece Ada)

Nina needs to gain some weight so Dr put on her a cocktail of half milk and half formula so she gets more calories. She seems to dig it so far(today was her first day on it)The MRSA seems to be back..yep...they took a nasal swab and that pesky little bug is in there. She's not acting sick so no drugs for her.
Nina's does great with her cannula and when she gains more weight she can try to be on it a little longer.
Both girls get their eyes examined last night for ROP and so far they are still just immature retinas.

So glad to hear they're both doing relatively well. MRSA is a pesky bug. My daughter had MRSA pneumonia at 1mos adjusted and still to this day at 10mos adjusted is colonized with MRSA whenever they swab her. So, as a precaution we're always in isolation during hospital stays. Such a pain!
What a beautiful picture of Appie, Mommy and Nina!!!
